The PMG lined ball valve body material is Cast Ductile Iron and lined with 3 to 5 mm of high grade PFA. The liner is locked to the body via dovetail grooves making it suitable for vacuum service and is resistant to a wide range of chemicals up to a temperature of 200ºC.
The minimum body cavity space reduces the potential for product accumulation and contamination problems and the full bore design ensures a minimum pressure drop
Face to face dimensions are in accordance with ANSI B16.10 short pattern.
The one piece ball/stem design prevents any ball-stem hysteresis and guarantees the correct positioning of ball open or closed. The ball/stem is made from stainless steel and lined in PFA which is locked to the ball/stem via tie-holes.
The valve seat rings are manufactured from virgin PTFE to ensure maximum sealing performance. The seats are retained within machined recessed seat pockets away from the process flow.
A unique packing system provides excellent stem seal integrity whilst maintaining a low turning torque.
