Catalytic Iron Filters (CIF) are generally used in the removal of H2S and are often the first stage of a two stage system with a Carbon Filter installed as a polishing unit.

RSF CIF systems are designed as a two stage catalysis process with upto 80% odour removal this can significantly reduce the in gas H2S at the second stage polishing.

Advantages of the CIF stage are that no chemicals are required, low water consumption and improved performance at the second stage.
